We begin the new academic year by building on what we have learned through this difficult period we all have had to live. While each mode of teaching language: face-to-face, virtual or hybrid, has its own methodology, there are some common pillars that support them.
Compelled by necessity, we have come to know and understand their application in the classroom. Undoubtedly, virtual teaching based on technological resources has had an impact on our conception of teaching foreign languages and this leads us to have an analytical view regarding why and how we should plan our classes, irrespective of the modality to be applied.
In this series of notes we will analyze possible methodological improvements in aspects such as class organization, language production by the students, effective and sustainable motivation and other elements that should always rule our classes notwithstanding the manner in which they are delivered.
